MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Wednesday, WikiLeaks revealed a batch of documents on Washington’s ultra-secret Trade in Services Agreement (TISA), one of the three hushed-up trade deals that seek to dismantle trade regulations between the US and the larger part of world economies.
The TISA pact notably excludes countries that are part of the Asia-centric Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the emerging BRICS economies – Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
"It’s very important for the United States to hold Russia back from building a new world, the world founded on the Eurasian Union, SCO and BRICS,” said Col. Gen. Leonid Ivashov, the president of the Academy of Geopolitical Problems and former senior official at Russia’s Defense Ministry in charge of foreign military cooperation.
