The European Commission delegation is in talks with the US House of Representatives on the new sanctions against Russia, according to Commissioner Johannes Hahn.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The European Commission delegation in Washington is negotiating potential new sanctions against Russia, Commissioner Johannes Hahn said Monday.
"Concerning the US sanctions [against Russia]… there are still ongoing discussions between our delegation and the House of Representatives to explain something and I am not quite sure what are the final decisions but based on that we will make our assessments," Hahn told reporters.
