It seems that the SCAF has inflicted a serious political blow to the Muslim Brotherhood by deposing President Morsi. What do you think?

I think it was extremely serious political blow not only to the government but to Washington, Obama administration has suffered horrendous setback on its all Arab Spring geopolitical strategy that Obama sign up some while back to create chaos across the entirety of the Islamic world going from Afghanistan, Pakistan down to Syria and Tunisia, Egypt, Libya and beyond. The Obama administration has been quite clear to the distress of even long-term allies Saudi Arabia and the Emirates with the exception of Qatar that Obama is behind the Muslim Brotherhood as vehicle of US influence in the region. And that is seen by many as a disastrous policy on the part of Washington. So, that policy has been a devastating blow.

Also in this context, can the SCAF be called fathers of the nation who sincerely stand for Egypt or do they just seek to capitalize on the situation in a bid to seize economic power?

I can just enlarge those comments a little bit. The fact that Saudi Arabia, the Saudi monarchy has greeted the actions by General Sisi and the military command, Morsi is under arrest and they should arrest all the key leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. So, the fact the Saudi Arabia is back in the salon with the Emirates, publicly and openly greeting the transition indicates that the Saudis are prepared to step in and fill the gap of the US defense spending to Egyptian military - 1.3 billion, a year and perhaps also give economic assistance to Egypt. It is no secret that the Saudi monarchy was extremely upset that Washington took down their close ally Mubarak more than a year ago.
