USA – Russia relationships are approaching—if not yet already at—a critical phase that recalls the "Cold War.”

During that period, the conflict between the Soviet Union and the USA was fueled primarily by differences in economic and political ideology, with the Soviet Union attempting to aggressively spread communism worldwide. Today’s conflict is based on both countries’ geo-political and economic concerns

Further polarization through the imputation of nefarious motives on both sides will not help resolve the crisis. What is needed is a peaceful strategy that avoids confrontations.

USA has huge debt to pay off, and that could be the root of the problem. Inability of balancing the budget from within the country could be another problem. Pressure, and isolations of the countries from each other to better control existing, and create new markets to pay off the debt still fits into a traditional geopolitical way of solving the crisis, which runs counter to all norms and rules, and needs to be revised.

It is time to stop making unsubstantiated accusations of each other, punishing each other, and start to realize that the sanctions is not the way to deal with each other, it does not only leads to retaliation, but also to certain divergence among the countries within the alliances, without mentioning the security aspects of the global escalation.

Whatever is the case, sides should stop thinking in traditional geopolitical logic of confrontation. With this conflict escalating daily, it would probably be wise to elaborate on the conceptual level, and then work out the details accordingly. It is to make one step above, and find the common denominator to form the higher level of efficiency.

Odd as it may appear, Russia is ready and willing to help the USA to move beyond the crisis. As a major energy resource supplier, stability and peace is in Russia’s interest. As a major player internationally, Russia can and will participate in efforts to ensure such a state of affairs.

It should be collective efforts to ensure the stable dynamics, as there are constant changes in the relationships between the countries, and unions. Countries tend to be more independent politically, and integrated economically.

The number of countries at odds with the concept of hegemony of one country is growing, so the trend to get away from the hegemony to the multipolarity. The list of anti-dollar trade countries is growing, they are getting ready to move their transactions to the currencies other than dollar. It could be a matter of time until EU countries take dollar out of their trade, or BRICS countries prepare alternative currency to trade.

The purpose of these examples here of course is not to prognosticate but to remind that the possibility of a change in perspective is possible and should be sought.

All countries with an interest in the outcome have a responsibility to make an amicable transition to a mutually beneficial state. Russia is ready, willing, and able to initiate the international cooperation toward the peaceful transformations.

The world does not need yet another confrontation or global crisis. Russia is ready to undertake its reasonable obligations and work along with other countries on creating the favorable conditions for all the countries involved to overcome the difficulties. The world is moving toward the further integration, and collective efforts are essential. The acceptance of help as well as the assistance is neither an attack on the national pride, nor the undermining the prestige; it is a norm in the global economy.

The forums, seminars, meetings are always feasible to elaborate the conceptual approach in achieving this goal.

The creation of the financial and intellectual privately managed funds to aid the undertakings is another important field of endeavor. Simply put, it is an everyday task to promote the awareness of good will, business opportunities, and exchange of ideas.

Free voluntary cooperation in various areas ultimately leads to mutual benefits, and it proved to be the way to solve many if not all of the issues. After all, partners in the creative process could not care less about politics, nationalities, but the task to achieve the common goal.

Economic cooperation along with the moral principles and values is the key component of the search for a new strategy that can assure the fairness, effectiveness, and progress, not the confrontation.
